Gallatin County Future Land Use Map
The Gallatin County Future Land Use Map (FLUM) is a component of the Gallatin County Growth Policy. The interactive map below represents the current version of the FLUM.
Important information regarding the FLUM and its use are addressed in Chapter 8 of the Growth Policy. Information about updates to the FLUM over time are addressed in Chapter 9 of the Growth Policy. Instructions for navigating the map are addressed in the welcome screen and in the sidebar. Note, some layers that are part of the FLUM are off by default for readability purposes. Layers can be turned on or off as described in the instructions.
Gallatin County Land Use Profile
The Land Use Profile is an interactive, web-based mapping platform that serves as a supplement to the existing conditions and Primary Criteria maps and information in Chapters 4 and 5 of the Growth Policy.
It provides a snapshot of current conditions in Gallatin County as of spring 2024 but may be updated from time-to-time as new data and information becomes available. It is intended to serve as a starter resource for County staff, elected and appointed officials, partner agencies, property owners, renters, and others to evaluate the context and suitability of future development in different areas of Gallatin County. Any information shown is provided for convenience and should be verified as current and reviewed for accuracy prior to use.
