Gallatin County Nonprofit Vitality Grant

Gallatin County and One Valley Community Foundation announce the final outcomes from the Gallatin County Nonprofit Vitality Fund. This fund was created from a redistribution of $500,000 of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds from the Gallatin County Commission in January of 2022.

“One Valley Community Foundation has been proud to partner with Gallatin County to ensure that American Rescue Plan dollars were put to work in our local nonprofit organizations, promoting resiliency and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic," said Bridget Wilkinson, President and CEO of One Valley Community Foundation.

In 2022, the Gallatin County Commission granted $500,000 of its American Rescue Plan Act funds through One Valley Community Foundation to nonprofit organizations throughout Gallatin County that were adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Yellowstone Community Club Foundation partnered with One Valley to further leverage funding by providing matching dollars granted to organizations primarily serving Big Sky.

Following a competitive application process, the Gallatin County Nonprofit Vitality Fund provided grants to 18 nonprofit organizations, which used the funding to retain and support the resiliency of existing staff, hire new staff, expand organizational capacity, and create sustainability structures to ensure ongoing service and programming to Gallatin County.
